While I use binos for work from time to time I rarely use binos for the stlye of huning I do in Arkansas. However I picked up a FHF harness for an upcoming trip to Idaho (literally just arrived at my office). Do you guys leave the lens covers attached to the binos or remove them. I guess what I'm asking is leaving the for and aft lens covers attached to the binos over redundant because the harness cases is sufficient? I have a set of Monarch 7 10x42s.

I use an AGC harness, but I don't bother with any additional lens covers

Had them on in my AGC the first time I used it and have since left he lens covers off. I think its redundant as long as you're keeping the inside of your bino harness clean

You'll get really tired of taking your binos out and then having to pop those covers off. The reason you have that harness is so you don't need the covers.
