Buy Maven C3, or stick with Vortex Viper 12x50

I currently have a pair of Vortex Viper 12x50 (Japan), but saw that Maven is having a pretty solid sale on the C3. Would it be wise to trade out for the Mavens, or stick with my Vipers?

Between the two I preferred the Viper, loved the Maven, but the FOV between the two was so noticeable I couldn’t handle the Maven’s. Maven’s has better image quality, not by much, but the FOV was what killed it for me.

My experience with the two (not 12x50s) would suggest you stay with your Japanese made Vipers.

C3 eye caps are notorious for popping loose and not going back on. Mine included. It’s annoying.

I guess I should’ve mentioned I compared Philippine made Viper 12x50 vs the C3. The glass in the Japan Vipers, as DreamingWest is speaking of, is better to my eyes than the Philippine made Viper, although it is a slight difference.
