Caribou in NL

Anyone do a Caribou hunt in Newfoundland ?

I'm seeing prices from $7,000 to $18,000.

Keene or Kean or something like that is $14,000
There were a few others I saw at the show.

Why spend that kind of money for caribou. That is what most pay for a guided moose hunt in Alaska. Up here we expect our guys will spend between 3800-4200$ on a caribou hunt but that is DIY. No reason to have a guide for Caribou hunt...

#1) I don't have the ability to pack out a Caribou.
#2) In Canada, you need a guide., by law.
