Chamber vac bag recommendations

Decided to pull the trigger on a chamber vaccum sealer. What bags do folks recommend? Is it worth the extra coin for 4 or 5 mill bags for general applications? Any specialty bags worth trying out? Any preferred brands? Thanks for any advice!

I use 4 mm bags for everything.

They tend to not get punctured as easily as the 3 mm when things get moved around in the freezer, or there is something sharp like a bone in what your packaging. The 4mm keep the product top quality for a long time although I cannot say they are better than 3mm in that regard.

I tried a few 5 mm bags and thought they were overkill. The 5 mm did not form around the product as tightly as the 4 mm or 3 mm.
