Leaving next week for a drop camp hunt in CO...Excited but nervous...Hoping for the best, getting in on the 28th to scout a bit before the 2nd rifle opener on the 30th...Been Escouting for a while..Any tips or tricks are appreciated...Not fishing for locations because I'll already be planted in a spot..lol.

Good luck man. Most important tip is to have fun and take it all in. Very pretty country to spend time in.

How did your hunt go? Looking at this as a second choice option for 1st Rifle if I don't draw my 1st choice.

I took a cow there on a three day (guided on private) hunt in 2021. It was a late December hunt and saw elk every day in the double digits.
