Anybody know the state of sand gulch road (fr124) leading up to the rainbow trail in unit 86? it starts off as a blm road outside of salida and turns into a forest service road at the border of blm and forest land. i know it may have been used for fire work with the deckers fire happening last year, so i assume they did some work on it to allow access, but the local forest service office was not able to provide much info.
