Disregard politics or people what’s the worst state to live in?

I was driving down I-70 to Denver a while back and on hour 6 of Kansas I thought to myself that Kansas must be the worst place to live. From my vantage point there was nothing but endless nothing. I’m not against wanting living rural but 5+ hours from anything pretty or seemingly fun must really suck. I would probably take living in Alaska over Kansas.

Im not necessarily making a comparison but i am saying when i comes to lack of populace i would pick the prettier one over the prairie

I just finished driving home to New Mexico from Virginia. I don’t think I could hack it in Oklahoma. Northern Texas was pretty bleak, too.

On the flip side, western Virginia and eastern Tennessee were incredible.

I agree, Kansas is the worst, definitely don't move here . And the deer hunting is way over-rated, definitely not worth the $400 tag.

I call BS. Tennessee, especially East Tennessee, is the most awful place in the entire United States. And we’re full up.

Last drive home solo from CO, I went to Wyoming and into Nebraska so I never touched a tire to Kansas. It was worth the extra few hours of driving.



Even in the last few hours, when I knew I could be home by now had I just seen Kansas, it was still worth it.

Kansas does suck. Stupid birds all over the place. The deer are really small and taste like stinky skunk meat. There is no good food in KC, especially not steak or BBQ.

Oklahoma puts all their ugly shit next to I 40 so you won't get off the freeway and look around.

Couldn't disagree more. ND is pretty awesome actually. Given that responds, it won't surprise anyone that I totally disagree with the OP on his view of Kansas. The reasons he dislikes it are some of the reasons I like it.
