DIT drying boots

i have been thinking about drying boots. these fans are 10 bucks on amazon [for two] and the conduit is cheap enough. if the conduit is run over a stove and up the the fan [clamp the fan to the side of a boot with a spring clamp] hot air could be blown into the boot. any battery bank would run the fan.
smaller diameter conduit might be better???
3 in by 10 ft duct is 10$
