so, I have some private land that I am going to be doing about 6 acres total of food plots.

The land I have is mostly pasture land with about 20 acres of hardwoods. Around is a few hundred acres of hardwood.

Clover is abundant on the property. I was thinking that I would frost seed alfalfa so the deer can get some early nutrients. Then later in the season I am thinking of no till drilling corn and beans.

The question is, what is the opinion of doing alfalfa portion? Is there something else that could be frost seeded that won’t take away from the nutrients of the soil?
