FULL ARCA RAIL + ACCUSTOCK

Has anyone run a full arca style rail on a Savage Accustock? I'm considering something maybe from SalmonRiver, Area419, or others. I'm not sure how to deal with the aluminum bedding in the stock. Can it even be done without putting any torque on the barrel/bed? Should the rail be bedded and then bolted into the drill/tapped aluminum bedding? Thanks for any input!!!

Drill and tap the aluminum channel under the barrel.

You might need to bed the rail to the bottom of the forend if it is not flat front to back. Usually there is enough that the rail will not rock once on, but you might need to get it for that too.

Don't sweat it, adding the rail and tapping the aluminum. Bed if needed, but you should be good to go.
