Garmin Instinct Solar - battery issues

Reaching out to see if anyone else has battery issue while waiting on a call back from support. I don't know if the watch is somehow enabling itself some features that are draining the battery but this is driving me nuts. Usually I get 3+ weeks on a charge, seems like more than that sometimes. Lately this seems to be happening a lot, where watch will show 12 days left on a charge and I don't even touch it but a few hours later it'll show days, then next time I look at it it's dead. I charged it 2 days ago and woke up this morning with it powered off. I rarely ever use any features on it whatsoever, mostly it's intended purpose is an emergency backup GPS though I'll sometimes use it to keep track of workouts (not lately, been lazy).

I had that exact issue. Chatted garmin support and they warrantied me a new watch. Painless and quick.

My battery still holds a charge very well, but the solar charging quit a while back. I talked with Garmin, and they had me reset it, but it still doesn't work. They said I could send it in for warranty, but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

Yup! They called me back, I'm out of warranty (bought June of last year Prime Day sale) but he said screw it he'd warranty it anyway.
