Granite Peak Tripod Accessories

I am looking to buy one soon. I have Vortex 10x42's and a Kowa 502 I want to use with it. From those that have used it, what accessories would I need to make that tripod work with those optics?

It'll come with a small "ball head" with a 3/8" male end on top. I put ball head in quotations because while it can function as such, it definitely has some inherent movement to the view after tightening. I've found it is fine for 8 or 10x binos, which I would leave my outdoorsmans bino adapter screwed on via the 3/8" end.

I've seen with a google search, a thread here of someone attaching a small outdoorsmans panner, which looked interesting.

After using mine though, there's just so much play in the legs anyway that I will use a more rigid tripod for even a small scope. AOKA makes an impressive one that is large enough for sitting.
