I have the redcliff. Spent 7 days on a backpack elk hunt this year. Temps high of 50s, low of 20s. Group of 3. No stove. Space was about right. We definitely preferred being on the spacious side when condensation set in overnight especially. The redcliff has a riculous amount of room for 2 people, and I've used it on overnight backpack trips. I'm sure you could get a smaller and lighter tent for 2 man trips, but given how dang light this tent is I'm not sure it would benefit you for the $ for an extra tent vs. spending on other gear. I'd start with the bigger tent for better, drier place to sleep on your larger group hunts.

I have used the cimarron lite for two season's now. Never tried more than two people, but neither my dad or I are small people, and a cimarron, with both of us, our gear, and the stove was kind of tight. We'll be going with something bigger next year. Definitely recommend something bigger like the redcliff.
