I can not speak to Sony, but am very impressed with the D750 (FF) I had the D500 (crop) and wasn't that impressed. I have a 70-200 2.8 on the 750. I need to get out of debt and get a landscape lens.

While Nikon makes great cameras, when it comes to Full Frame, Sony is the new standard. The A7 series is amazing. The Mark 2 is gone, now the Mark 3. It's 42MP sensor and the latest processor means it has no equals in it price range. Plus the Sony $600 instant savings thru Saturday makes it a walk off home run. Unlike Nikon this has 5 axis image stabilization built in that works with ANY lens mounted on the body
The A6500 is an amazing camera as well. At that price point, when you add a lens you may be better off with the Canon RP mirrorless. That comes with the 24-105L lens and is full frame. If you want to make this a hobby and thhese fit the budget then buy once, hurt once is the way to go

Feel free to give me a call to discuss all of the options

LOVE my A7III that I bought from Joel. Sold ALL of my Nikon gear (was shooting D500). No regrets.

Like comparing the Patriots to the Jets. The Sony is that much better, over 30 dedicated lenses and 2 more on the way, true 5 axis IS, 2 card slots. There is a reason Sony has #1 market share in Full Frame cameras in the USA since January of 2018. They are better
I'm in today from 9-6. Give me a call to discuss
