Leather boots for snakes

Recently, on two separate occasions, I almost stepped on a Timber Rattler. That has me rethinking my strategy as I've only used trail runners for the past 10 years.

I went ahead and purchased Turtleskin gaiters which I am very pleased with. Now, I want to get hiking/backpacking boots to help in case I get bitten in the foot.

Preferably, I'd like something with enough leather, or synthetic material, thickness to give me a fighting chance in case of a Rattler bite.

Do anyone have a suggestion?

I'll close the loop on this thread. I ended up with two boots. Schnee Timberline and Absaroka.

I'm fairly confident a Timber Rattler will not pierce the leather of the Timberline. I am highly confident that if it tried to bite the Absaroka, it would immediately head to the snake ER to be treated for a concussion.
