This troubles me. According to the interweb they bite each other’s nuts off. Have they ever crossed the species barrier? Discuss.

When I was a kid a friend's mother was crippled by a llama attack. Used it's hooves which led to blood clots which really messed her up.

I knew there was some reason I never trusted those things.
Always giving me the evil eye.

Nut biting is real. 😣😓

We have 2 young, intact males and that's definitely the move they try when they end up on the same side of a fence. What's more impressive is their defensive instincts to protect their nuts! I've seen them bite each other almost everywhere except on the nuts. Spring projects include fortifying a stud enclosure and gelding one of them.

The toe nails they have are like velociraptor claws. Whenever they kicked it seemed like they could grab them and rip them off. Always made me nervous. But they were never bad for biting.

I swear they hooked those toenails back over their pads while retracting their leg after kicking. Plus I didn't trim mine so they were a bit longer.
