I’m a Talley user myself. I have at least 5 hunting rifles with the LWs on them. They are all non magnums.
I am not tough on rifles or scopes. I have had no issues. But honestly with all the options available to us out there I would not use any mounts or rings I had even a 1% doubt would fail me. The weigh savings and one piece design advantages do not outweigh ones 100% confidence in their rifle set up. Thats just one hunters opinion but based on 45 years of making choices, some right ,some wrong. Good luck whatever you decide to do.

I cracked a talley and that was obviously the accuracy problem. If the rings are aligned and can get to torque....and not break, it's not the rings.

Make sure the screws don't touch the bolt.

Curious if you sent it back to Talley? and what they said?
