Lowa combat boots for western hunts

Anyone running the Lowa Z8s GTX C for elk and mule deer ? How are they holding up and what areas are you doing most of your hunting? Can’t decide between them and the HanWag Alverstone II GTX. Leaning to the HanWag for the fact I think they will last longer. But they might be a bit much for the badlands this year. Trying to find the best all around boot for September hunts ranging for Badland mule deer and antelope to Idaho elk and mule deer in the mountains. Other recommendations?
