MBG scope on SH fast eddie

Anyone ever take a look at how to put a MBG scope on a SH sight? I've seen folks put Axcel scopes on SH and vice-versa, but nothing with black gold.

I'm considering getting a 3/8 SH scope rod machined with the MBG dovetail slot.

I know I could just use my MGB sight... I just like the SH platform better!

Seems like nothing's out there yet. I'm really tempted on getting something like this going:

The SH rod just needs to be notched with the dovetail and drilled/tapped for the tightening screw. The first axis is still adjusted using the rod, the rest of the axes through the sight. This would also add more vertical adjustment for the SH sight - right now you either have to move the tape, or move the indicator which doesn't give you as much as adjusting the whole scope.

Thoughts?

Reviving this in case anyone else is interested. I'm trying to get this thing manufactured (I don't have access to a mill or a 3/8" 60deg dovetail end), however I'd be happy to pay someone to produce this prototype for me.

3" long, 3/8 6061 round bar
1/16" depth notch, 5/8" length
3/8", 60deg chamfer dovetail - 1/8" depth
8-32 setscrew thread

Another update, found a fabricator that will build the prototype. I hand-machined one with a file and it works super well, looking forward to seeing the results of a pro model.
