My wife got the walk in closet, seems like a fair trade.

Ok guys looking for some help here, for years I have been trying to get.my wife to hang some mounts upstairs, she likes to decorate very modern style with gray walls and white picture frames all matching white end tables ... You get the idea.. anyone have a similar style decorated home with mounts hanging?

I mean my man cave is great but 85% of the time we are in the livingroom.

Pictures would be great, basically I'm looking for rooms that have mounts that are not like cabin themed
European mounts and fence post frames

Tall ceilings help to not make mounts such a distraction and not putting to many in one room has been the way my wife and I agree on them. So we have the shoulder mounts spread throughout the house and the euro mounts all in what is about to be our newborn’s room. Has nothing to do with a man card and more to do with respecting each other. Don’t let anyone let you think different unless you don’t enjoy happiness. 😂

Euro mounts are the way to go with modern decor. Ask her to find some complementary art, that got my wife onboard.

To add to the above, I even got a euro in the baby room under the “complementary art” trade off plan. As a bonus, my wife now knows the difference between elk and caribou ;)

I've always had mounts in our living room. My wifes mom has always had mounts so she is used to it. Lol

Mounts look creepy. Who really wants 1/4 deer coming out of there wall. Euro is the only way to go and the other parts (meat) goes in the freezer.

Mounts look creepy and Euros don’t? Wow, couldn’t disagree with you more. I’ve definitely warmed up to Euro mounts in the last few years or so, but still think a shoulder, full body, or rug is it! It takes all kinds I guess, and the world just keeps on spinnin’.

Man, I’m one of the lucky ones! We went to Africa right as I started the house. She was deciding what room each animal went in a I shot them. Other than the master bathroom, I don’t think there’s a room without a mount or hide. But in all fairness, we live in a log home, so it’s part of the decor.
