One of the best rail makers in the business. This is a short action length 17-4 stainless steel rail. It perfectly fits the profile of a 700 short action receiver. Finish is stainless satin, and it has slots milled under the rail for pins to be inserted in case you want to mill corresponding slots in your receiver for recoil lugs. (Probably not necessary unless this is being used on a big boomer or a light weight rifle).
Looks great with a matching stainless receiver.
I had this made for a build, ended up getting the scope later and the +4” eye relief sets the scope too far forward, so I need another base.
Other than being mounted, it’s brand new and bullet proof.
Comes with two recoil pins, and the 6-48 mounting hardware.
