hey everyone, did some searching and cant find exactly the answer to my question. So im going on a early aug stone sheep hunt with a friend and my dog last time I took my seek outside cimmaron and it did very well but that was in sept and I heard the bugs can be very back earlier, so im looing for a full tent. Im looking at the nallo 3 and thought the 3 would be big enough for 2 guys and my lab, also looked at the anjan 3 to save some weight but i possibly would want to take this tent on a winter goat hunt one year so maybe the weight penalty and getting the 4 season would be better? Also is there other 3 man tents i should be looking at also?

A 3 will barely be big enough for two, much less a dog. I had an Anjan and sold it for two reasons, #1 I didn't need it any more and #2 I got really sick of crawling in head first into the head end. Hilleberg is great quality but I'm 99% sure I'm done with the tunnel designs, if I get another one it'll be a side entrance.

The GT version is well worth the extra money if you get the Hille

the vestbule seems pretty big on these already, i was worried about the size of the footprint of the GT seens how i wont just be using it up north also around home and we have some pretty thick areas sometimes.

I have hunted stones with 2 guys and my dog in a nallo 3 gt. There was lots of room inside the sleeping portion of the tent for the 2 dudes and dog...no problem! Good luck on your hunt!

I have a nallo 3gt that I've owned for probably 5 years now. I went with the 3 so I could sleep 2 comfortably. I've used it from September through December. I just wish it was about 2 lbs lighter. For me, it's my go-to tent with more than enough room for my uses.
I'm 5'11" 180 lbs.

Yes. The pack i have for my dog is the wilderness wanderer dog pack. Could easily fit 50lbs+ in the saddle bags obviously that would be too much for my dog. I won't think WW is making packs anymore though. I did buy a 2nd pack when one came available used. If you have trouble finding a bigger pack let me know and you could probably borrow my 2nd one for your trip.20190919_092835.jpg
