Nikon Monarch 82ED-A vs Athlon Optics Cronus G2 20-60x86mm

Looking at buying one of these two spotting scopes for a muley hunt in the fall. I'm in Canada so the Athlon will run me about $1200cdn and the nikon $1500cdn. I've done some research and both scopes look good. The Nikon is lighter but doesn't have a ton of reviews but I ASSUME it has slightly better glass. I'm just wondering if the Nikon is worth the extra $300. Any opinions appreciated. Thanks.

My experience would push me towards Nikon. Much better glass.

Check out the Nikon review here on Rokslide and the birding forums all seem to love it. Haven't come across much on the Cronus mostly the Ares.
