Settling In

It's been a month since we rolled into CO and we are finally starting to feel settled. After getting jerked around by the moving company and waste management here in Douglas county things are finally calming down. The moving company picked our stuff up in CA on aug. 31 with a scheduled delivery to our new home on sept. 6. Our stuff finally showed up sept 20th! It was a long 3 weeks of sleeping on air mattresses and no boob tube! Although CO seems to want to be CA's twin in a lot of ways, after living all my 32 years in Cali it is super refreshing to be here. People actually wave to each other here! Overall my family and I are extremely happy to be here and I think it will be a great place to raise my boys.

Congratulations for getting out of California ! I'm jealous of you guys living in the heart of the rockies with all the hunting , hiking , and camping anyone could wish for. I'm stuck in Florida for a couple more years most likely.

As a Californian, i bid you farewell and wish you and the boys the best.

my job here is just too kickbutt to leave. maybe someday.

i hate moving. packing, loading, etc. bane of my existence.
