Shrek's unprepared last minute 2016 elk hunt !

By September 1st of this year I had called off my hunting trip due to finances . I had bought a foreclosure that needed rehab and my bank account was bleeding out ! Business had been slow and things were getting ugly. I did keep my tags though and a 3PL project came up that saved the bank account and has made it possible to hunting for a few weeks. Unfortunately I had completely stopped working out and have been working 14+++/7 for the last four weeks so I literally had to get things together Friday and Saturday and toss them in the Sequoia. On the road and on my way to a well deserved ass whipping ! I'll post a little when I can.

I love driving through the Deep South ! Cotton fields , some picked and some still a sea of white , peanut fields with the bales of peanut hay still in them , and trucks parked at the edge of the woods where someone has slipped in to hunt. I love America !
