I am getting ready to start backpack archery hunting, and I just made my first gear purchases. The tent that I purchased is the Sierra Designs Flashlight 2, weighing in at 3 lbs. 6 oz. Has anybody used this tent, and/or can anyone provide any feedback on it or Sierra Designs products? Thanks for the help!

I just got one in last week..haven't spent the night in it but set up was easy, probably would have been easier if I had staked it down vs setting up in my living room

One thing I've found that I don't care for so far is the front awning has a rubber/plastic stiffener that's about 12 inches or so long (haven't measured)..so you can't compress it beyond that, plus I'm worried if I roll it up too tight and Jam it tight into a pack, I may tear some of the material the stiffener is connected too

Hope that makes any sense, otherwise so far so good, it's light and I like it

Thank you very much for the info! Mine is on its way now, and I hope to be using it for spring bear (if I can manage to get drawn with only one point!).
