Hate to part with this one, but I gotta make some room in my camera bag. This lens is in excellent shape and is tack sharp, even wide open. You won't find more capable glass under $3k or 8 lbs. This lens only weighs 4 lbs. and is easily hand-holdable. Stores in just 11" of space when zoomed to 150mm. Reversible lens hood is quick and easy.
I've attached a sample image so you can get an idea of just how sharp this lens is. If you're looking to shoot critters on a budget, this is your lens. Stick this on a clean used D200 or D300 and you're producing professional quality images for under a grand.
