Sleeping Bag Liner Recommendation

I use a SOL Escape lite bivy and a cheap liner from Walmart. Both work great with my down bag. The combo definitely increases the lower temp comfort of my Ignite 16.

Used to do the sleeping bag liner thing, but gave it up in favor of merino base layers.

Run FL top and bottoms now. A little bit of a weight penalty, but much more added versatility and far warmer than a liner.

I wear wool base layers, wool socks and light wool beanie (kuiu) and use the bag liner in my marmot sawtooth 15° bag. I slip it on feet all the way then lift butt and slide liner up to back, then sit up and pull it up. After zipping and laying down I spread legs and arms to pull slack out of liner. Doesn't seem to tangle much with base layers on. The above procedure is a bit trickier in the hammock. Only had cold feet on the below 30° nights.
