Sunday hunting in Georgia?

Is it legal to hunt sundays in Georgia? I’ll be in Oconnee area for a couple weeks but only free time will be on sundays. Having a hard time finding regs that address the issue.

Yes. It's legal on public and private.

Definitely legal and for me the deer seem to move better on Sundays. Especially when I’ve promised my wife I’ll be home for church!

Yes, but it was definitely frowned upon when I was a young hunter back in the early 80s. Some landowners would flat out not allow it....Things were of course alot different back then....

Thanks for the info. Now that I’ve had time to think about it, kinda seems like a pipe dream. I’m gonna be working six 12’s and I keep asking myself, “are you really gonna wake up at 4am to go freeze your ass off for a day and then do six more 12’s?”

Hopefully one of these days here we will be allowed to hunt all sundays.

VA. Used to be totally outlawed here. Now it’s permissible on private land.
