Took my rifle out of the safe and noticed a bit of oil on the eyepiece side of the scope. Anyone ever run into this?

Too close to season to go sending it in...

One day when I pulled my ATS out of the safe I noticed oil droplets on the inside of the lens of the eyepiece. Doesn't seem like it harmed anything other than it bugged me.

Had some oil spots Inside my STS spotter eyepiece. Had to send it back to swaro for a free fix.

I know it's close to the season, but I would call Swaro and see what they say. I imagine they will ask you to send it back for inspection.

It's the grease they use on the o-rings and threads of the fast focus eyepiece. It will seep out over time as it breaks down or gets thin. Especially if your safe is in a garage, or other place where it gets warm. It's not a problem, and doesn't affect the seal.
