I found a pair of swarvoski 8x30wb SLC Habicht binos on our local FB marketplace. Guy wants $500 for them and I sold off my 8x20 swarvoski tonight to help loosen that hit.

are these worth $500? I want a decent pair of pocket binos that are smaller than my 8x42 and the 8x20 were just a bit too small.
Here is a pic of what they look like.
He’s an older gentleman and I plan on meeting with him tomorrow.

Agreed. They are four generations old but the first to come with “swarobright”. A pair recently sold on ebay for $355. I would look at them still and see if you like the glass quality and ergonomics.

I bought a pair in the past the SONA completely refurbished. The guy spent several hundred on the work. They were very clear, high quality, but the ergonomics were off for me. The focus wheel is at the end of the barrel.

Does that pair have twist up eye cups? Adequate eye relief? You could always talk to SONA about what they could do to update lenses, prisms, armor, eyecups, but get them at the right price to do that.

I’d look around and try and find a used 8x32 Trinovid HD.

Thanks guys. He offered me $450 and I’ll hold off for now. I have a pair of monarch 7s and I’m happy with them. Just want something smaller for while I’m driving the boat etc
