tikka compact

Can someone tell me the differences between compact and regular tikkas. I see the 20 inch barrel in the compacts. I am assuming the stock has a shorter lop? Will the action fit in a regular stock? Im thinking about buying a 243 compact, dropping it in my stockys stock, putting the 308 back in the factory stock, threading the 243 for a suppressor and start whacking deer.

same action, different stock (shorter lop + spacers), shorter barrel.

The compact stock comes with a spacer to make it full length. The spacer is 1.25 inches. Other than the shorter barrels everything else is he same. Smga has a compact 243 for 599 and I believe free shipping @bnsafe
