Wait em out or make them stand?

Knowing my luck, I would wait and just before he stands up a forky would walk from behind me and blow up the entire situation.

Seems like the guys I have hunted with have had more opportunities at a shot by waiting for them to stand because they like to adjust frequently. I also learned that if your arrow gets caught in brush while you are stalking and it makes a BOINNNNNNG sound, the deer will spook.
