Weight of CA 6.5 PRC Mesa vs Ridgeline

FYI and FWIW....

Christensen just announced that they will be offering a "Titanium Edition" to the Mesa and Ridgeline offerings for 2020. Also in a new color: Grey with black webbing.

They say the Mesa will start at 6.1# and the Ridgeline starts at 5.8#. Not to sure the weight savings of mesa 0.4# (6.5# vs 6.1#) and Ridgeline 0.5# (6.3# and 5.8#) would be worth the extra $500 price tag.
Mesa msrp $1295 vs $1795 Ridgeline msrp $1995 vs $2495
Of course the msrp is not the real world everyday price you can get these for. The everyday price online for these usually run about $100 under that.

I had a feeling they were going to introduce something for 2020. I cant decide if i pull the trigger now or wait until the new offerings come out.

Titanium action rifle with carbon fiber barrel for $2500 doesn't seem bad at all.

The only thing that would make me want to jump on one right now is EuroOptics having that sale on them right now. The ridgeline for $1695 is a pretty damn good deal. Unless you want to save that (maybe?) half a pound and add about $700 to the price of the rifle, I'd jump on the Euro deal. now.

I wish I would have seen this before I bought my 6.5 PRC earlier this year. Mine is the 7# 8.8 oz one, but at least it shoots lights out.
