Used a 125gr G5 Striker from 34yds to harvest this goat. Didn't go more than 20yds and tipped over stone dead.

Full pass through, arrow was recovered 20-30yds past the body.

I ran the Kudu 150gr fixed blade. Not the new model with the bleeders, but the regular fixed blade. I managed to kill a hog with it it and was extremely impressed. Full pass through and the animal went less than 50 yards and died within sight. I know that’s not a lot of kills but so far so good. Sticking with them next year as well.

125 gr COC NAP killzone. Elk was bedded at 47 yards downhill and there was a little wind so I opted for this over the 125gr ST mag that was also in my quiver. 70 yard death run. Hit this tree at a full run and then died just behind it. I'm standing in it's bed for the blood trail photo. Offside shoulder looked super bloodshot!

I’ve got 125gr Kudus, VPA 3 blade, Magnus Buzzcuts, and Exodus to decide what will be up front on my late AZ bull hunt next week. Got my first archery harvest in sept on a velvet Coues at 90+yds with the Exodus and he died within 100ft of where he stood (boiler room pass-through), so it’ll be hard not to grab them but the others are very tempting for the mighty Wapiti.
The Kudus start to plane left out of my setup past 40 and as much as I’d love to I’m not retuning with a week to go before the hunt (the others are all within a couple inches of POA at 60 as my bow sits.

Wish me luck, I hope to report back how whatever I use works if I get one!!

Exodus 125grain swept.
40 yard frontal
When bull whirled could see the blood spewing. Piled up in a few seconds about 65 yards away. Was extremely impressed with the penetration. Was right under the hide in front of hindquarter. Im shooting 70lbs. 26" draw. 450 total grains.

I've taken 2 bulls and both were frontals with the exodus. Ive shot them hundreds of times while practicing. Awesome heads that can take a beating!

Shot the 125g Magnus BlackHornets with bleeders in 2020. Switching in 2021 to a head I can sharpen without having to take them apart. I want to be able to touch up the edges every couple of days when dragging them around the mountain. Leaning toward the GrizzlyStik Samurai.

125 grain Kudu contour plus. 62 yard heart shot. Broadhead passed all the way through. Bull sprinted 40 yards and fell over without a twitch. First animal with them but hopefully not the last !

Curious as to what was your Head of choice? No doubt most of us have good reasons why we chose one over another! For myself I chose the Viper Trick by Slick Trick, it was the 100 grain version, how about yours?

ElkNut
125 gr solid Ironwill. TAW of around 500gr.
40yrd shot, slightly quartering to, hit high lungs, possibly only one lung. Arrow hung up on the fletchings on the exit side. Very little blood. Bull went ~300yrds. I recovered him the next morning.

Wasp Jak-Hammer Select-A-Cut 1.5 inch cut 475 grain axis camo 300 shaft 73 pounds 30 inch draw PSE Xpedite at 295fps. Terrible shot - should have stopped the bull. Hit him way back and was expecting a long difficult track job the next morning. He went 100 yards and was stone cold dead. Not sure what I hit but large cut of the Wasp probably helped.

40 yards broadside shot placed about 2 ribs back from a perfect heart shot, but still got both lungs well.
The bull ran about 50 yards, stopped, then laid down and passed, all in about 2 minutes. Found out later on that the broadhead had been shot a few times into foam beforehand so it wasn't "out of the box sharp" but it still penetrated to the other side. Ferrule is still in good condition and Ill be using it again next year.20200929_222401.jpg20200929_214424.jpg20200929_203801.jpg
