Same as last year, 28" Easton Bloodline 400's, Blazer vanes, H-nock and Slick Trick Mag 125 grain. 402 grains total weight. May try some Dirt Nap broadheads though...

Blood sport ht1 300s in the 001 straightness variety with the new outserts and 100gr helix broad heads up front, fletched with three 3in zeon fusions. Extremely quiet, accurate, hard hitting and absolutely devastating combo. I harvested four axis deer ( over here in Australia we call them chital) and three very good quality hogs in one 7 day hunting trip with this combo. I won't be changing my set up in a while

For you guys shooting Kinetics... Have you had the pleasure of bending an outsert yet? I loved those arrows but it doesn't take much to render them useless. Their outsert design is horrible.

Hey nick,
I didn't like those outserts so I don't use them. I use HIT inserts instead. Brass ones to boot. Increased FOC and more weight!

Carbon Express Maxima Hunter 350 with type 1 insert and a gold tip 20 gr screw in weight with a 4 inch onestringer wrap and 3-Flex fletch SK 200 vanes. Broadheads are either 100 grain shuttle T/Terminal T or Ulmer edge broadheads.

Forgot to add that I use QAD Tune- A -Nocks and my arrows weight exactly 400 grains

Pretty much shot this exact same arrow all last season. Hits real hard. I was at 490 total weight with a 50grn brass insert @ 288fps. BUT as I mentioned in a thread earlier that HIT insert will crack the front of your arrow if you hit anything fairly hard. Its a lot of stress on the insert/shaft when that kind of energy connects.

You ever tried the broadhead adapter ring (BAR) Easton makes? Seems they would keep arrows ends from splintering and until they come up with a better design than either hit insert or gold tips long outsert I'm gonna stay with my gt xt hunters.

Gold Tip Pro Hunter 7595 w/10grns on insert and w/Easton G pin nocks, Flex Fletch Flash, and Rage Extreme/Muzzy Trocar. I always have a mech and fixed in the quiver depending on the situation.

When the Trophy Ridge arrows came out I tried them with their outserts, but found that they bend real easily. Then I tried the Kinetics and their outsert as well, same thing. So all I use is HIT's now when building these types of arrows. Never had a problem with the HIT's.

Yes, the GT outserts are junk. I prefer either the HITs or the Firenock Aeroinsert in stainless steel.

Not sure yet. Experimenting right now.

Last year was 340 FMJ 28 inches and 125 gr Razor trick, 3 blazer vanes. Finished weight 485gr. FOC 11.6

Just built a few FMJ injections 330, cut to 27 inches using VAP Penetrator insert, half out. Those weigh 479gr with an FOC of 13.4. So far not impressed with these.

Going to also build a couple with the second generation VAP half in half out. These will weigh 496gr with an FOC of 14.8.
