Wyoming Spring Bear

Looking to do a Wyoming spring bear hunt. Most likely in the southern part of the state somewhere. Any suggestions on good areas to check out?

I was elk hunting in what would be Unit 9 for bear in Wyoming and saw lots of bear sign. Obviously that was the fall but they are there. Worth doing some research on that unit I'd say.

9 is a good unit when you find the bears but the quota can be filled very fast

Yes, when you buy a bear tag you can register two sections as your areas. But you have to pick from areas that are available (alot of the good easy access areas are already taken and re-registered by the same people year after year).
