Specifically for Elk - if you had to choose one broadhead for one shot, what are you taking? I say that because I feel like some broadheads might not be as effective for resharpening as others, yet more lethal initially.

Slick Trick Magnum

I sharpen my broad heads on a 1200 grit diamond stone every season and get them RAZOR sharp. I can get them sharper than they initially are when I pull them out of the packaging.

Meh… I’ve shot moose and deer with these and it’s gotten the job done but not real impressed, edge retention and blade strength is poor. I still have a bunch I plan to use at some point.
I have had good luck with them but shoot lower poundage.
