Youth Colorado unit 44/45/444/47 Muzzleloader and all rifle tips

I have a youth antlerless tag for CO units 44/45/444/47 Muzzleloader and all rifle seasons (due to CO youth extended season program). this will be my first large game hunt and just looking for any tips, good roads to drive in, where to scout and set up trail cams, etc. What week should I prioritize if any?

Those units have some VERY rugged terrain. My only recommendation would be if you aren’t well versed in the mountains I wouldn’t venture far from a trail. The blowdown is THICK and it will take you double if not triple the time to get somewhere than you think it will.

I would do the muzzy season and then first rifle if that doesn’t pan out. Pick an area that seems appealing to you and start trekking some miles until you find them. Best of luck!
