Attempted scam by user Gakey628

I'm almost 100% positive this dude is trying to scam me. I almost fell for it. I don't know the proper procedure or anything but I have, what I think, is legitimate proof.

I reached out on a post from user joelblitz inquiring about purchasing his water-filter kit. User by the name of Gakey628 messaged me giving me his number said he has the kit for sale. Claims the Gakey628 profile is his son's new profile but that the phone number is his, joelblitz. The Gakey628 has no posts or even an introduction post to my knowledge.

I private messaged joelblitz this morning inquiring about it but haven't heard anything back as of writing this post. It smells fishy to me so I kindly backed out of the sale and blocked the number.
