I see so many of these posts. Are you going to use your rain gear to hide and wait out the storm or are you going to actively hunt in it? From my experience it seems animals are more like me. They head for cover and come back out when it's stopped raining or is lightened up quite a bit.
It's been like this everywhere I've hunted. Right after a nice rain everything seems to come out of the woods so to speak.
I have a Cabelas space rain jacket in my pack all the time to use as a rain jacket. If I had to actively hunt in the rain I don't know what I'd use as I'd be just as wet inside as out.
