    My thoughts exactly. This past week I was at our rifle range and a guy I know was breaking in a new 7PRC with factory ammo. He was shooting factory ammo with the exact same bullet I was using in my 280AI with reloads. 35 fps difference in the 2 rifles per a Garmin Chrony.

    Barnes Quality Control

    I quit Barnes a long time ago so have no personal experience with these tipped bullets but I’d bet you a cold one that beyond 300 yds or so the accuracy would not be good. It is just simple aerodynamics.
