    Insert/broadhead Issue?

I always tighten em down with a broad head tool. Arrow was not damaged and another broad fit just fine.

    Frame pack and saddle hunting

Just like the above post, I use the Kuiu 3600. I can toss everything in it I need and usually throw heavier layers in the pack so I'm not sweating like a pig on the hike in. Lash the steps to the side of the pack and the platform to the front. Wear it up the tree when climbing and then once its...

    Insert/broadhead Issue?

Looking to see if anyone has had this happen. I had a broad head slip/pull out of my easton axis arrow after being shot through a deer. I recovered the arrow to find the broad head missing. The threads inside the hit insert look okay. I had zero issues with screwing in the heads and tightening...

    Synthetic boot for the tundra?

Ive been rocking the Asolo neutrons for quite few years now. It's an all synthetic, gtx boot. Headed to AK in late September for a caribou hunt. Wondering what people think about a synthetic boot for the tundra over a leather boot? Thanks.

    Colorado Cylinder Stoves

I like having it in the roof but now that I’ve used it I think I would rather have the stove jack in the sidewall. I just got nervous having the stove pipe that close to the wall of the tent.

    Colorado Cylinder Stoves

Here are a couple pictures. I definitely would go with the smallest option they have which is the Mesa I believe. I could fit a extra large size cot and a normal size cot inside no issues.

    Colorado Cylinder Stoves

Ended up with the Spruce model. It was used in my kodiak canvas 10x14 this October in Wyoming. Worked very well, almost too well.

    257 Wby

It’s pricey but in today’s day and age it’s about on par with other magnum factory load prices.

    257 Wby

Recently scooped up a 257 Weatherby and have been feeling quite confident with it shooting 100 gr TTSX out of it to about 400 yards or so. I have a cow elk hunt coming up in October and have been told by a few people its more then plenty to anchor a cow. Just looking for a little...
