Unless you think you might move on and try something else, get the sharpening wheels. (There's a definite consensus surrounding that.) Looks like some folks have just gotten cheap Wen grinders and done fine.
Rokslide member Bowhuntr64 linked an interesting video on the Annihilator broadheads (and posted a thread about them here on Rokslide), which I understand are pretty affordable and easy to sharpen. With low velocities like yours though, classic wisdom says to stick with 2 blade Cut-On-Contact...
Hi ya folks, I got a question:
Do any of you have experience with the Omega release from B3 Archery?
Apparently, when these guys sold Scott, they signed a noncompete clause,
which has long since expired, and their Versa release seems well-liked on Rokslide,
so naturally, I was wondering...
Did anyone ever actually try one of these? (Especially the multi-digit one?)
It's been long enough.
They are currently sitting in the Clearance Section at Lancaster.
Anyone?
One thing to keep in mind:
Although Idaho allows up to 85% let-off, both Colorado and Montana only allow let-off of up to 80%. I chose therefore to go with the 80% mods on my Vertix, as hunting in Montana in particular is likely to remain important to me.
For some reason the plush style cases appeal to me. However, I can't really find reviews about them. I just don't want to spend that kind of money on a case ($250 or so), just to end up regretting my choice. Cheers!
Hey Roksliders,
I am currently considering hard-case options for my Matthews Vertix bow, and have narrowed it down to the SKB iSeries. However, I have encountered two different types of interiors. One is a "plush" or fur style, and the other is a more typical foam style. So my question is...
Hey Rokhounds:
I am currently on the threshold of placing a Six Man Tipi order from Seek Outside, and I have a question for those of you with experience using these tents. Specifically, have any of you purchased one of these tipis WITHOUT the bug netting on the doors and later regretted it...
In preparation for a quickly approaching late June Idaho bear hunt, I recently purchased two 25 lb. bags of salt, planning of course to use the salt on the hide(s). The problem is this: I foolishly purchased IODIZED salt by accident, and I'm likely stuck with it. So, should I buy two NEW...
When I switched from the Midway Guide Pants, which have rather decent knee pads, to the Corrugate Guide Pants, which do not, I missed those pads immensely. I like First Lite stuff, but I wish more of their pants had pads.
Hey Rokslide, a question:
Do any of you have any experience with the Reaper Ground Blind by ASAT Systems?
Chap is said to be designing a new version which I think comes out this summer, but there are still a few of the old ones floating around, and there is very little out there in the way...
