All of those are good choices. I’ve been shooting terminal ascents in my 308 and have been absolutely wrecking everything from coyotes to big hogs with shots straight in the shoulder

150gr Hornady Interbonds.
Good BC and with IMR 7977 you can get them to 2950fps if needed.
IMR-7977 60.8gr - 100% case fill2,940fps61,300 PSI
Winchester Case, Win Large Rifle Primer
That is 7mm Rem Mag power with bonded bullet = 1500lbs energy behind it at 500yds.
It's not impossible I'll wind up reloading in the future, but man do I not need more hobbies...On the other hand a true 2950 with a 150 does sound nice.

270 in 130 grain ballistic tip or accubond have been great for wolf, bear, deer, antelope, and elk for me

I don't hand load so I use Federal Premium 130 gr Sierra boat tails. Have had great success with that load.

Personal favorite is 150gr partition. Punches through damn near everything with plenty of damage. Broadside, through the shoulder, head on, …it always hits the vitals and kills quickly.

But there’s lots of good options and I have never had a bad experience with 150 interlock, 130 and 140 accubond, 136 TLR, 129 LRX. All these have worked for me as for accurate loads and terminal performance on game. But I still come back to the 150 partition as the best for my hunting out to 550-600yards, running 2990 FPS with RL 26. Bought 1000 of them when they were $16 per 50 just two years ago from SPS. Think those will last me a while….

Almost any bullet you shoot at 100 yds will blow up if it hits bone unless it’s a solid. Because it’s traveling very fast. Most of the bonded and cup and core bullets are designed for better weight retention as they slow down at 250-300 yards and longer… say 2500 FPS. The solid bullets have a reputation for expanding well at higher velocities but not so much as they slow down. There is no perfect bullet or free lunch. Bonded or partioned bullets seem to be the best compromise. IMO YMMV

Im thinking you are on the right track with monos (id do barnes ttsx) and accubonds. I have first hand experience with both and they do great. I probably wouldn't do partitions. Not because they are a bad bullet, they have taken game for decades. The BCs for the accubond should lend itself to hit a little harder at the ranges you are looking at. The BCs on the monos usually aren't quite as good but they are great for penetration. In a 270 win especially on elk id probably use one of these two.
