28 Nosler LRX Discussion

Starting to put together a load for my xbolt mountain pro. Always shot Barnes TTSX out of my 300WM with good results. Thinking LRX 168 paired with H1000. Been doing some reading and seen a few guys using the 148 LRX. Gun will be used exclusively for Moose and Elk under 500 yards. Would there be a benefit to using the 168 over the 143 or say an 160 Accubond. Always had the idea that heavier the bullet the better. Especially when it’s pointed at a 6-900lb moose.

If I were you given the range limits you indicated I would try to find some Nosler Partitions. They are built well and ideal for large big boned animals. The thought thing will be finding them in 200grs plus.
