I just picked up a fifth gen ram (2019 1500) and was wondering what you guys are running for chains? These are the ones I’m eyeing.

I’ve read that they will fit on the back, but you can’t put chains on the front. I have the 20 inch oem wheels, and also the 17 oem wheels. Would a class S style chain work in the front? Didn’t know if Anyone has found anything that has worked for either of those, or if spacers are my only option.

They'll "fit" on the back but if they loosen up a tiny bit they will tear the brake lines off the calipers leaving you with no brakes. I run similar chains front and rear on my 2019 Ram Rebel but I put 1" hub centric spacers on before I head out on my hunts.

I run this style on my 5500 4x4....but I have better clearance than you. I will say that if you set the chains right and lock the cams tight....you don't have much to worry about. I have watched my chains hold tight at 35 mph and barely kife off the tread.
