Looking to venture into the accubond arena with my Creedmoor. I have taken many animals with the eld-x but I would like to try out some accubond loads for this 6.5 as I really like this bullet in other calibers. Has anyone loaded for a 6.5 creed with these bullets? If so, care to share your load info? Curious as to which powder performs the best. Right now I have quite a bit of H4350 so hoping to find something that them accubonds like. Any info would be helpful. Thanks

The only cartridge I’ve had any luck with using the ablr is the 30-06 with the 190g. I’d probably just use a regular AB for my 6.5.

So far my 7mm RM loves 175 grain ABLR. Nosler recommends some jump so I seat my bullets at SAAMI length. 1/4-1/3 MOA at 100 yards. I'm still experimenting.

Thats what I load in my ruger hawkeye, 41.5gr H4350 and 140gr AB. Not impressed with the velocity being 2676 but it's very accurate. Haven't killed anything with it yet so can't speak for the bullet but would wager it'll do very good. Groups opened as I tried going higher, quit at 42.5.

I've been loading 130gr AB's and LRAB's (129gr) in my CTR with 43.5gr of RL17. My 20" barrel launches the AB at 2735fps avg, and the LRAB 2767 avg fps. Found my OAL to be 2.80....lots of jump, and both are well under MOA. I've killed loads of animals with the 140 and 160 AB in my 7mag, and quite a few hogs and a few whitetail does with the 130 6.5CM, and the AB is a very reliable performer IME. I just started killing hogs with the LRAB and it's done fine so far on about a dozen hogs.

I load for two 6.5 Creedmoors and both shoot the 130 AB and 129 ABLR into sub inch groups and same POI at 200 yds. 2,760 FPS with 42.5g RL17 for both guns, just swap the bullet. We have put both bullets into deer and elk have they held together well despite hitting spine, ribs and other bone. Last year we found a perfectly mushroomed 129 ABLR under the far side of a cow elk. Also put a 130 AB through a cow elk spine and it held together and exited. I think both bullets are excellent performers.

Both guns shot similar groups with H4350, just about 75 FPS slower.

Thanks for the input everyone. Looks like now I have the daunting task of finding some accubonds :).
