Fmj. Heavier the better. Foc doesn’t matter unless going through heavy bone and that won’t happen anyways unless you’re well above 600gr with that setup.

@logomount what kind of FPS are you getting out this? I shoot 27 with a Mathews tactic and have the 340 5 mm axisI’ll be going on my first hunt in September. I’ve got a dozen brand new 5mm FMJs and a dozen new Axis both in 340 spine...which is the better arrow?

38%, I have found that to be the Roosevelt bull knuckle breaking threshold… haven’t proven it yet, but I’m pretty sure the theory is soundWhat does everyone look for in FOC for an elk? The axis should be easier to get a higher FOC
