I just listened to "My Sixty Years on the Plains Trapping Trading and Indian Fighting" by William Thomas Hamilton. I liked it. I'm going to look into a few of the ones mentioned in this thread.

A little off topic but you should also read “My 6 years with the Texas rangers” followed by “9 years among the Indians”
